Job description
- Manage the cost, schedule and technical performance of an Agile Release Train.
- Manage competing priorities associated with troubleshooting, site sustainment, development of new capabilities and technical refreshes.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure team priorities are aligned with program execution and the software build plan.
- Mentor and guide team on best practices for leadership, agile, EV, cost and schedule management and software development.
- SW Risk and Opportunity identification, creation, management and execution.
- Development and maintenance of CPT staffing plans
- Software status reporting to PMO, USG, department, RTN Engineering and IPTs.
- EAC development and presentation to appropriate discipline levels.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.
This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field and 10 years of relevant experience or a master's degree (preferred) and 7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with development frameworks such as Agile Scrum and SAFe.
- Experience leading and mentoring agile software team(s).
- Experience with the integration of Agile and Earned Value (EV) Management.
- Experience with a DevOps framework for development using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Azure, Jenkins, Coverity and/or other tools.
- Experience with interfacing with customers and lead technical solutions with complex user requirements.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- RTX Earned Value Certification.
- Raytheon PM Level 6 certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
- Experience with development of monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LREs) and quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs).
- Experience with oversight of cost, schedule and technical performance of one or more software team(s).
- Experience with Software Leadership and/or Software Architecture on complex, large scale systems or a related industry certification.
- Experience on XBR, AN/TPY-2, COBRA DANE, QEWR, UEWR, SRP or radar data processing domain knowledge.
- Experience with Software Development in a DoD environment.
- Experience with cost estimation and developing government technical proposals.
- Familiarity with Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) and/or Raytheon Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM).
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
