Job description
Job Duties: Design, develop, implement, test, maintain, and support applications software, including web-based applications and major enhancements of existing systems, for client projects using Java/J2EE technologies. Use appropriate programming language and technology, write code, complete programming and documentation, and perform testing and debugging of enterprise applications. Provide technical and analytical input /guidance to project team and assist developers regarding project architecture and application programming practices. Lead individual projects and work as an individual contributor, responsible for completing projects within allotted timeline. Assist with definition of project scope and objectives. Provide technical architecture input and coordinate programming practices of the project team and identify resource needs. Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports. Conduct project meetings and responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables. Recommend and take action for the analysis and solutions of problems. Use of Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, AngularJS, Web Services, REST API, XML, Kafka, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GIT, Kubernetes, Docker, Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, PL/SQL, and Oracle.
Requirements
Requirements: Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Engineer, Lead Engineer, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Jenkins. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
