Job description
- Leverage data science, machine learning, and advanced analytics to solve business problems and provide actionable insights.
- Plan and complete complex projects using statistical applications, big data analyses, and machine learning.
- Develop innovative analytic solutions, models, and automation processes to support commercial strategy.
- Build and support data models, algorithms, and statistical analyses for meaningful insights.
- Stay updated on emerging data engineering technologies and trends, evaluating and implementing appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with the BI team to improve reporting and visualizations for collaborators.
- Partner with the Enterprise Data & Insights team to develop and deploy data science models.
- Provide analytical commentary on industry trends and impacts.
- Present recommendations and results clearly to various audiences.
- Measure and report the impact of deployed models on business outcomes., Depending on the nature of your role, you may be required to register with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.
Requirements
- BSc in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Additional training in Data Science, BI, Data Visualization, Analytics, Programming.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, R, Java, and/or CSS.
- Experience with operationalizing ML models and basic MLOps/ CI-CD workflows.
- Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or other visualization tools.
- Understanding of data management practices and the data lifecycle.
- Strong communication abilities for participating in targeted conversations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills for addressing audiences of varying sizes.

Pay Range $70,000 - $130,000 per year
Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
