Job description

  • This role combines technical consulting, pre-sales solutioning, proposal development, strategic account support and billable architecture services delivery

The Solution Architect will work closely with the Client Partner and Customer Stakeholders to understand business challenges, design transformative solutions, develop winning proposals, and provide hands-on architectural leadership during delivery engagements. The individual will act as both a strategic solution advisor and a billable architect embedded within customer programs, ensuring continuity from opportunity identification through successful implementation and value realization.

Customer Engagement & Requirements Discovery

  • Partner with Client Partner and stakeholders as a SME to understand business objectives, challenges, and transformation priorities.
  • Lead discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, architecture assessments, and solution design sessions.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable solution architectures and implementation roadmaps.
  • Build trusted relationships with business and technology stakeholders across customer organizations.

Pre-Sales Solutioning & Pursuit Support

  • Design end-to-end business and technology solutions aligned with customer goals.
  • Develop architecture blueprints, solution designs, implementation strategies, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Lead technical solutioning activities for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and strategic pursuits.
  • Create compelling proposals, statements of work, value propositions, executive presentations, and business cases.
  • Support effort estimation, pricing strategy, risk assessments, and commercial discussions.
  • Present solutions to executive stakeholders and participate in deal shaping and negotiation activities.

Billable Solution Architecture Delivery

  • Serve as a billable Solution Architect on customer engagements, providing architecture leadership throughout project execution.
  • Own architecture governance, solution quality, technical direction, and alignment with customer business objectives.
  • Work directly with customer technology and business teams to guide implementation and adoption.
  • Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, technical decision-making, and solution validation activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, delivery, and product teams to ensure successful execution of proposed solutions.
  • Provide strategic advisory services to customers on technology modernization, cloud adoption, digital transformation, data platforms, AI, and enterprise architecture initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks while ensuring architectural integrity and scalability.
  • Support transition from pre-sales to delivery, maintaining continuity and accountability for solution outcomes.

Strategic Account Enablement

  • Act as the primary technical advisor and trusted partner to Client Partners managing HiTech accounts.
  • Develop account-specific technology roadmaps and growth strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling, and upselling through ongoing customer engagement.
  • Align customer transformation initiatives with the organization's capabilities and service offerings.
  • Support executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a bridge between sales, delivery, engineering, product, and customer leadership teams.
  • Mentor consultants, and technical leads.
  • Develop reusable solution assets, methodologies, frameworks, and proposal accelerators.
  • Contribute to architecture standards, best practices, and capability development initiatives.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technology security practices?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * AI: AI solutioning experience to reduce costs, improve delivery excellence and innovation.

  • Cloud & Containerization: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, AKS
  • Programming & Frameworks: C#, .NET Core, Java, Python, Node.js (polyglot mindset preferred)
  • Architecture & Design: Microservices, API-first, event-driven, SOA, REST, gRPC, GraphQL
  • Integration & Messaging: RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis Cache, Service Bus, Pub/Sub patterns
  • Data & Storage: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DocumentDB, MongoDB, Cloud-native storage solutions
  • DevOps & Automation: Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
  • Security & Compliance: Identity & access management, API security, cloud governance, regulatory alignment, * Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of software delivery experience.
  • 5+ years of designing scalable microservice, event-centric, and API-first architecture.
  • Hands-on experience transforming legacy monolithic applications into service-oriented, containerized, and distributed systems.
  • Experience designing architecture for large scale enterprise migration initiatives.
  • Cloud Certification (AWS) is desirable.
  • The ideal candidate possesses strong business acumen, technical depth, customer engagement skills, and the ability to bridge sales and delivery functions while maintaining utilization targets through billable customer work.
