Job description

Drive the User-Centered Design (UCD) process and create deliverables for specific projects focused on current product releases and user experience improvements.

Collaborate with business and engineering teams to enhance customer experiences and usability for an existing consumer commerce platform.

Transform complex data, workflow processes, and user requirements into intuitive web and mobile interfaces. Apply user-centered design methodologies to understand user goals and tasks, and validate designs through usability testing and iterative processes.

Develop interface concepts related to data workflows, presentation, and manipulation of data, employing information architecture and interaction design best practices.

Create storyboards, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes in a collaborative environment with business, product, business analyst, and engineering stakeholders.

Support and defend user-centered design decisions to achieve best-in-class designs.

Lead user testing, analyze data, and incorporate feedback to validate and improve designs.

Work in an agile development environment to ensure seamless translation of design concepts to implementation.

Ensure designs are visually appealing and functional with a strong aesthetic design sense, even if not specializing in visual/graphic design.

Requirements

The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent with relevant experience.
