Job description

Designing and developing embedded software solutions for HEL systems.

Performing software analysis, testing, and verification activities.

Supporting requirements development and validation Collaborating with systems, hardware, and test engineering teams.

Contributing to software lifecycle processes and engineering best practices.

Assisting with integration and troubleshooting of hardware and software components.

Desired experience includes one or more of the following: C# development.

Embedded software engineering practices.

Microcontrollers and embedded systems.

Electronic test equipment.

Graphical User Interface (GUI) development.

Please note:

This position requires onsite presence in Bothell, WA.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Requirements

You are a motivated engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working in collaborative environments. You have a strong foundation in software engineering and an interest in developing advanced technologies that operate in mission-critical applications. You bring experience or knowledge in software development, embedded systems, testing, or related engineering disciplines, and you are eager to contribute to innovative solutions within a high-performing team., Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; no professional experience with a related Masters degree

  • Demonstrated experience writing C/C++ code

  • Experience creating GUIs in C# and Java or Python -Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, must be a U.S. Citizen Desired Skills:

  • Experience with operation and use of standard lab equipment for test, trouble shooting, and repair.

  • Experience with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD concepts

  • Understanding of software engineering best practices (Particularly C/C++ & C#)

  • Strong Written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience integrating software in an embedded hardware environment

  • Experience troubleshooting software interfaces

  • Experience and ability working with cross functional/multi-disciplinary teams Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration., Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $76,500 - $134,895. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
