QA & Automation - 100% Remote -

Contract to Hire client team seeks a talented Quality Engineer to join our team for automation testing who can also assist with Manual QA, as-needed. Our tests are written in Typescript using Cypress, and they're written against a React App with a GraphQL/MySQL backend. Our app utilizes several AWS services including Lambda, AVP, Cognito, RDS, SQS, SNS, and more.

Quality Engineer responsibilities:

• Author new automated tests which extract as much value as possible
• Execute tests, review reports, and create test maintenance tickets
• Maintain existing tests in the automated suite
• Carefully develop automated and manual test plans which cover happy and

unhappy paths

• Identify and improve upon tests which become flaky
• Write clear & detailed tickets based on issues found during testing or

test writing. Including logs,

screenshots, instructions, etc...

• Manually test new features and areas we don't have adequate automated test

coverage

• Participate in daily stand-up meetings

Automation QA with at minimum Javascipt (really wants both javascript and typescript)

Jest / ViTest

Testing API's for REST and GraphQL

Preferred

• Experience testing with Cypress
• Some database knowledge (MySQL or similar)
• AWS/Lambda (Cognito, AVP, SQS)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
