Job description

JOB SUMMARY This role requires an experienced engineer to lead vulnerability management and remediation efforts, identify and mitigate security risks using various tools, and implement security hardening and automation across cloud environments. The position involves partnering with multiple teams to integrate security best practices and support DevSecOps initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead vulnerability management and remediation efforts across cloud and platform environments. Utilize security scanning platforms, such as Snyk, to identify and mitigate security risks. Implement security hardening, automation, and security controls across AWS/Azure-based environments. Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to integrate security best practices into day-to-day operations. Support DevSecOps initiatives, cloud-native security, and continuous improvement of monitoring and response capabilities. Analyze security findings and prioritize remediation efforts based on risk.

Requirements

Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or Infrastructure Security roles. Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and remediation programs. Experience using security tooling such as Snyk and similar vulnerability scanning platforms. Strong understanding of security hardening practices for cloud and enterprise environments. Experience working within AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms. Knowledge of infrastructure, operating systems, networking, and security fundamentals. Experience automating operational or security-related tasks using scripting or infrastructure-as-code tools. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills. Education: Bachelors Degree
