In this role, you will work closely with experienced team members to ensure the integrity, maintenance, and security of campus-wide technology. Your work will directly impact our operations, from managing critical IT assets and alarm/CCTV systems to providing end-user support for faculty, staff, and students. • Project Support and Consultation: Provide initial consultation and assist in gathering requirements for small-scale projects. Assist the team in designing and planning solutions, including new alarm and CCTV systems. Prepare necessary documentation and paperwork to facilitate part orders and billing for completed installations.
  • End-User and Workgroup Support: Provide customer-focused assistance, including training on equipment functionality. Maintain databases for monitoring software and interpret technical drawings to document completed alarm and CCTV installations. Ensure all activities are documented in the University-approved case tracking system.
  • Data Integrity and Security: Promote best practices for data security and integrity. Support investigations staff by searching and reviewing archived video images and properly securing evidentiary copies in accordance with University policy.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development through self-study and training to remain current with industry skills, project management methodologies, and communication techniques.
