The ideal candidate will combine user experience strategy, human-centered design, and modern Salesforce design principles to create scalable, accessible, and engaging digital experiences. This individual will work closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, AI-enabled development teams, and business stakeholders to design solutions that maximize usability while supporting rapid delivery and continuous modernization efforts., * Design intuitive, user-centered experiences that streamline workflows, improve productivity, and reduce user friction across Salesforce solutions.
- Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, journey mapping, persona development, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs that align with business objectives and user needs.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Salesforce Architects, Developers, and Scrum Masters to translate requirements into effective user experiences.
- Design user experiences leveraging Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS), Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications.
- Optimize end-to-end business processes and user journeys by identifying opportunities for simplification, automation, and improved usability.
- Design AI-assisted user experiences that effectively integrate intelligent recommendations, workflow automation, Agentforce capabilities, and decision-support tools.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, Section 508 requirements, Salesforce design best practices, and modern usability principles.
- Leverage user analytics, adoption metrics, and feedback to continuously improve designs and user experiences.
- Develop and maintain design systems, component libraries, style guides, and reusable design patterns that promote consistency and scalability.
- Partner with development teams throughout sprint cycles to ensure design intent is accurately implemented.
- Support rapid delivery environments by incorporating iterative design practices and continuous user feedback into product development cycles.
- Proactively identify and integrate AI-enabled solutions to improve design efficiency, user engagement, and overall product experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience Design, Information Systems, Psychology, or a related field.
- Active Secret clearance and
- Must be local to the DMV area with the ability to support onsite requirements in Washington, DC.
- 3-5 years of experience in UX design, UI design, product design, human-centered design, or related disciplines.
- 2+ years of experience designing Salesforce user experiences, including Lightning applications, Experience Cloud sites, Service Cloud interfaces, or enterprise Salesforce solutions.
- Demonstrated experience designing Salesforce-based user experiences and enterprise applications, including workflow-driven systems and business process automation solutions.
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of UX research methodologies, usability testing, interaction design, accessibility standards, and responsive web design.
- Experience working within Agile product development teams, with the ability to simplify complex workflows and translate business requirements into intuitive, user-centered designs
SALARY RANGE: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
