Join Swiss Aviation Software as a Data Integration Consultant in Basel. Be part of the digital transformation in aviation!
Tasks
- Support data migration for AMOS implementation projects using ETL tools.
- Develop and code extraction scripts in SQL, Python, and Java.
- Lead small data migration projects and ensure documentation is updated., * Consulting customers on how to migrate legacy data into AMOS using ETL software
- Mapping data between AMOS and the legacy system
- Development and coding extraction scripts (e.g. in SQL, Python and Java)
- Evaluation-, configuration and specification of interfaces
- Develop data migration sub-project plans with the Swiss-AS Project Manager.
- Leading small data migration projects end to end
- Ensure that tools and documentation (e.g. Data Migration Guidelines) are relevant and up-to-date.

Requirements
- Degree in software engineering or computer science with a strong IT background.
- Strong SQL foundation and knowledge of programming languages.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills., We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Integration Consultant for our Basel office to support our customers throughout the data migration activities of their AMOS implementation projects and for data integration and analytics projects., * AMOS and MRO knowledge are a plus
- Completed a degree/diploma in software engineering, computer science, aviation, and air transport engineering with a strong IT background.
- Strong foundation in SQL as well as several scripting- and programming languages
- Database knowledge (e.g., PostgreSQL and Oracle...)
- Knowledge of ETL tools (E,g.: Talaxie, Informatica, Glue...) and processes
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in project environments. Project management experience is a plus.
- Excellent organizational-, communication- and interpersonal skills
- Exact articulation skills, also in the context of AI prompts
- Significant travel (at least 50%), applicant should be prepared for ad-hoc traveling and customer site visits over an extended period.
