The Business Central Functional Consultant plays a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. This role partners closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into functional designs, and deliver high-quality ERP solutions that improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate combines deep Business Central expertise with strong analytical and communication skills., * Lead functional workshops to gather business requirements across Finance, Procurement, Sales
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, solution designs, and configuration tasks
- Configure and customize Business Central to support business processes, including workflows, permissions and reports
- Collaborate with technical teams (developers, integration specialists) to ensure functional requirements are properly implemented
- Perform system testing, including functional testing, UAT support, and regression testing
- Produce high-quality solution documentation ensuring knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability Train end users and create training materials to support adoption
- Advise on best practices for Business Central usage, process optimization, and system governance
- Support data migration activities, including mapping, validation, and reconciliation
- Stay current with Business Central updates, new features, and industry trends
Requirements
Do you have experience in Sales?, * Proven experience 5+ years as a Functional Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Strong understanding of core BC modules, such as Finance (GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Intercompany, Closing), Sales & Purchasing
- Experience leading requirements for workshops and producing functional documentation
- Hands-on experience in at least 2-3 full lifecycle Business Central implementations
- Ability to design end to end business processes and map them to BC functionality
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams
