Job description

  • You lead the design, configuration, and customization of SAP BTP security services, including integration with SAP S/4HANA and SAP SaaS solutions
  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security solutions aligned with business and operational requirements
  • You analyze security requirements, define strategies, and provide technical guidance for efficient and secure integrations
  • You establish and maintain security strategies, standards, and guidelines
  • You act as the service and system owner for SAP Cloud Identity Services
  • You monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize authentication and authorization processes to ensure system stability and reliability
  • You stay up to date with SAP BTP innovations and continuously improve security capabilities and best practices

Requirements

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or have equivalent work experience
  • You bring several years of experience in security frameworks, with a strong focus on SAP BTP and integration with SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems, ideally in a regulated (GxP) environment
  • You have deep expertise in SAP BTP security frameworks, SAP Cloud Identity Services, and SAP security best practices including compliance requirements
  • You are experienced in applying security design principles such as least privilege, defense in depth, and segregation of duties
  • You have hands-on experience with Single Sign-On (SSO), federated identity management, and identity providers (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID or SAP Customer Data Cloud)
  • You have proven experience designing and implementing role-based access control concepts in distributed SAP environments and are familiar with security standards such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect
  • You understand data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and have experience working in DevOps and Agile environments
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communicate effectively in international environments, work well under pressure, and have excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
