Solve incidents and collaborate with IT teams on migrations., Our client, a multinational pharmaceutical company, is looking for a professional who will become part of their global IT organization as a System Engineer (Clinical Trials). You will collaborate with the Drug Development Departments for chemical and biological entities, focusing on a global pilot project to oversee the clinical trial supply process through a cloud-based SaaS solution. In this role, you will:

Work as part of a cross-functional product team to develop and maintain solutions that drive business success.

Ensure the operational excellence of systems and applications, maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Contribute to the technical advancement of our clinical trial supply system landscape.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Act as the bridge between business needs and IT solutions, utilizing your expertise in systems and interfaces.
- Contribute to the development and further advancement of software concepts and projects, driving innovation and sharing technical knowledge.
- Take full responsibility for process and system maintenance, ensuring compliance throughout their lifecycle.
- Design and implement product architectures, guiding projects from planning to launch for smooth transitions.
- Drive the complete software lifecycle, including documentation, patching, updates, and access controls, and coordinate with IT, business units, and external partners for seamless operations and continuous improvement.
- Solve incidents, problems, and execute system changes, and work with IT infrastructure teams on system migrations, replacements, or retirements, including legacy systems.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a background in Computer Science, strong infrastructure knowledge, and proficiency in technologies like OpenShift and AWS. The position demands a team player passionate about innovative IT solutions., * At least 6 years of professional IT experience.

Demonstrated understanding of databases, servers, and cloud systems.

Strong communication skills in English., Understanding of infrastructure topics Proficiency in OpenShift Proficiency in AWS Proficiency in Python Proficiency in APIs, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, * You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, along with at least 6 years of professional IT experience.

Must have demonstrated understanding and experience with infrastructure topics such as databases, servers, cloud systems, networking, interfaces, and development up to containerization.

Proficiency in at least 3 of the following technologies/platforms: OpenShift, Bitbucket, JIRA/Confluence, Jenkins, AWS, Python, TypeScript, ServiceNow, APIs.

Strong communication and presentation skills in English.

Proven track record of understanding system lifecycle and documentation requirements in GxP environments will give you an edge in this role.
