Job description
As an IT Project Manager Retail & Platforms, you lead projects at the heart of modern retail organizations: platform renewal, integrations, data, cloud, omnichannel and digital operations. You bring structure, manage scope, planning, budget and risks, and make sure business, IT and vendors move in the same direction. You are not just an administrative project manager; you have enough technical understanding to challenge, translate and build trust with client teams. How you strengthen the team
- Lead IT projects in retail, consumer-services or comparable enterprise environments.
- Manage planning, scope, budget, risks, dependencies, decision-making and progress reporting.
- Connect business stakeholders, product owners, architects, engineers and external vendors.
- Support platform implementations, integrations, migrations, data/cloud projects or modernization initiatives.
- Identify risks, improvement opportunities and potential follow-on assignments at clients.
- Contribute to project approaches, proposals, client presentations and reusable delivery templates.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Supply chain?, * 5-7 years of experience in IT project management, delivery management or program support with demonstrable delivery responsibility.
- Minimum PRINCE2 Foundation; PRINCE2 Practitioner, IPMA or PMP is a strong plus.
- Proven experience with IT platforms, integrations, data, cloud or application landscapes.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, supply chain, logistics, consumer services or a comparable enterprise environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and professional fluency in Dutch and English.
- Consulting mindset: client-focused, entrepreneurial, structured and comfortable in commercial conversations.
We would also value
- Agile/Scrum certification such as PSM I, CSM or SAFe Agilist.
- ITIL Foundation, Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), AWS Cloud Practitioner or comparable baseline knowledge.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Project and steering committee reporting.
- Knowledge of retail processes such as e-commerce, omnichannel, store operations, loyalty, CRM/ERP or supply chain.
- Experience with vendor management, contract agreements, change management and escalations.
