Web Developer & Designer

We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our client websites. Web developer responsibilities include building our website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function and to help support our range of client websites and web-based applications. The role will involve working on and testing multiple projects within the agency across standard CMS-based websites, ecommerce platforms and bespoke web-based applications., Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices Integrate data from various back-end services and databases Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs Create and maintain software documentation Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities The work is working in a small team, but assigned to individual based development projects

· Take responsibility for the design, coding, developer testing

· Document all work to industry standard best practices.

· Create, amend and keep track of programs in accordance with the design.

· Ensure the completion of all work projects assigned within agreed specification.

· Designs software and program modifications

· Plans, designs and conducts tests of programs; corrects errors and re-tests to achieve an error-free result.

· Resolve bugs in solutions developed

MVC and .NET CORE HTML5 JavaScript & CSS / SASS Gulp / NPM MS SQL Experience with CMS implementations 2+ years commercial experience (preferably agency side) Testing experience and an eye for detail Eagerness to learn and expand skillset

It would be favourable for candidates to show skills within:

Specific experience with Kentico CMS or Umbraco Experience with Headless CMS platforms, · PHP

· HTML/CSS

· MySQL

· API Development

· Excellent communications skills.

· Takes a logical, analytical approach to problem solving and pays close attention to detail.

· Understands Software lifecycle and can manage their own project through to delivery.

· Thorough understanding in principles, methods and techniques for documenting standards such as programming standards, quality standards, etc.
