Job description
We're looking for an ICT Support Officer to join a small, supportive team . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some professional IT support experience who wants to grow their career in a role that genuinely makes a difference where you have career development opportunities . You'll be the first point of contact for colleagues across the organisation, helping them get the most out of the technology and systems they use every day.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Providing first-line IT support to colleagues, handling general help enquiries for systems and IT issues

Onboarding and offboarding of staff and devices, ensuring a smooth experience for everyone

Supporting across both infrastructure and software a great mix of technical variety

Managing asset and data administration, and processing orders for new equipment

Getting involved in project work as the organisation moves to new systems

Supporting testing of new systems and writing clear, helpful training guides

Creating training videos to help colleagues build confidence with technology

Working closely with two Senior Support colleagues and a Systems Admin who will guide and support you
-
As part of a wider team, implement approved changes, fixes, new software and systems as well as enhancements to existing software and systems.

Working with vendors to develop enhancements and rollout updates and upgrades to software systems.
Requirements
Do you have experience in VMware?, We're looking for someone who:

Has some professional experience in IT support (first or second line)

Is comfortable working with Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Windows environments

Has great communication skills and genuinely enjoys helping people
-
Is organised, detail-oriented and able to manage their own workload
-
Is enthusiastic about learning and keen to develop their skills
-
Experience with Microsoft 365 admin portals, VMWare, Citrix, ITIL or ITSM tools would be a bonus but not essential.
