Job description
As a Python Developer you will design and develop Greenfield, data centric applications that monitor arctic ice flows and various other data points for clients within governments, defence, energy exploration and conservation. You'll focus on Python backend services, taking ownership of projects and working end-to-end from ideation through to production of new features and applications.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Ruby?, * You have strong Python backend development skills; Ruby would also be useful but not essential
- You have a strong knowledge of CompSci fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns
- You're comfortable using AI tools such as Claude in your everyday workflow
- You have experience in a start-up or small business, keen to work on Greenfield projects with ownership
- You're collaborative with great communication skills, happy to partake in technical discussions and decision making
- You have a degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience
- Ideally you will have some experience or a keen interest in working with Geoscience / Geospatial data
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK
