Software Engineer

Do you have experience in Programmable logic controllers?, Do you have a Master's degree?, With a relevant background, preferably, but not necessarily, to Masters or PhD level, you will be involved in a broad range of tasks including:

• Designing, programming, and maintaining PLC-based control systems using Siemens TIA Portal
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues in production and testing environments
• Enhancing and modifying LabVIEW programs (prior experience is a plus but not essential)

Practical experience of magnet systems, cryogenics, mechanics, electronics, test apparatus, production methods and collaborative working environments are advantageous.

Our team includes some of the most experienced magnet designers and builders in the world and we are now looking to recruit a Software / Control Systems Engineer to join them in Storrington, West Sussex.
