Job description

We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Experienced IT Support Technician to join our team.

You'll be responsible for handling escalated tickets, resolving more complex technical issues, and supporting the wider team. This role is ideal for someone working in an MSP who wants more responsibility, variety, and progression., * Manage and resolve support tickets via our PSA (Syncro)

  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues across multiple clients
  • Support environments including:
  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Azure / Entra ID
  • Active Directory & Windows Server
  • Assist with device setups, user onboarding, and system changes
  • Support backup, security, and endpoint protection solutions (via Pax8 vendors)
  • Work on client projects (migrations, upgrades, standardisation)
  • Maintain clear documentation and ticket updates
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and suppliers
  • Ensure all work aligns with SLAs and best practices

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, * 2-5 years' experience in IT support (ideally within an MSP)

  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Microsoft 365 and cloud environments
  • Windows 10/11 & Windows Server
  • Active Directory / Entra ID
  • Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
  • Experience using RMM/PSA tools (e.g. Syncro or similar)
  • Experience working with ticketing systems and SLAs
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Project delivery experience - Server Migrations, Email Migration and File migrations.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with MSP vendor platforms (e.g. Pax8)
  • Knowledge of:
  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Cybersecurity tools (endpoint protection, MFA, etc.)
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)
  • Mentoring lower level Techs
