Applications Engineer - Mechanical

• Design process cooling systems for greenfield projects along with retrofits and expansions for existing systems.

• Work closely with our sales representatives to perform initial customer evaluations

• Perform detailed energy and water use analysis, design solutions and select equipment to meet customer requirements with emphasis on performance, reliability, energy efficiency and water conservation

• Partner with our vendors, project managers, manufacturing and CAD departments to formulate project costs, create customer proposals and monitor projects through final implementation and commissioning.

Do you have experience in Spreadsheets?, * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or working towards one

• A minimum of 5 years experience in Mechanical, Process or Facility Engineering

• HVAC and/or Process Water System Design experience highly desirable

• Detailed knowledge of equipment used in process cooling water and air conditioning system design including pumps, heat exchangers, chillers, cooling towers, dry air coolers and adiabatic coolers highly desirable

• Experience/familiarity with plastic manufacturing processes (injection molding, extrusion, compounding, etc.) and/or metal treatment processes (heat treating, nitriding, furnace cooling, etc.) highly desirable

• Ability and customer-facing presence to build and nurture customer relationships

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CAD

• Availability for occasional overnight domestic travel to visit customer sites

• Commutable with 1 hour's drive time to our Leominster, MA facility on a daily basis, * Do you have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering?
