Job description

Systems Test Engineer I is responsible for the testing and validation of Gentex systems and applications. They will execute test plans, identify defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that Gentex products meet functional and performance requirements., * Implement and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for system-level testing.

  • Execute manual and automated tests to validate system functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality.
  • Conduct regression testing and verify bug fixes to ensure product stability.
  • Analyze test results and generate detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Stay current with industry best practices in testing methodologies and tools.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SDLC?, * Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

  • 1+ years of experience in systems testing or software quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience in Python scripting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
