Note: This is a hands-on technical role. Candidates must have experience in back-end system configuration and data management. Functional project managers without configuration experience will not be considered. Must have hands-on WorkForce Software configuration experience (no functional-only profiles), WFM Platform Configuration: Hands-on experience configuring enterprise workforce management software (e.g., WorkForce Software (preferred), UKG/Kronos, Ceridian Dayforce, or SAP SuccessFactors). Data Engineering: Advanced SQL skills and experience building/maintaining ETL pipelines. Systems Integration: Proven ability to manage data exchanges via APIs, flat files, and XML. Technical Analysis: Ability to bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical system architecture. Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile/Jira environment. Skills Preferred: System Configuration: Assist with technical build and "under-the-hood" configuration of Time & Attendance, Scheduling, and Absence Management modules. Data & Integration Engineering: Design and maintain ETL pipelines and API integrations (REST/SOAP) to ensure seamless data flow between the WFM platform and Ford s internal ecosystem. Rule Engine Development: Translate complex union contracts, labor laws, and manufacturing work rules into precise system logic and automated calculations. Platform Governance: Manage system health, security roles, and environment stability. Lead the technical validation of software patches and version upgrades. Advanced Analytics: Use SQL and data modeling to build complex reports, identifying trends in labor costs, compliance risks, and operational efficiency. Experience Required: Experience Required: 10+ years of IT experience supporting complex, large-scale enterprise programs. WFM Expertise: Direct experience configuring and administering a major Workforce Management platform for a large-scale population (10,000+ employees). Data Background: Strong track record of managing data integrity and integrations for HR or Payroll-related systems. Manufacturing/Union Context: Experience navigating the complexities of union work rules, rotating shifts, and plant-based scheduling. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with US/Canadian labor regulations (FLSA, provincial laws) and their technical application in timekeeping. Experience Preferred: Direct experience with WorkForce Software (WFS) Experience with cloud-based data tools (Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, etc.). Background in automotive or high-volume industrial environments.
