Job description

Assist with project planning. Organize and document planned procedures for assigned portion of systems project design, documentation, training and installation. Coordinate project implementation with vendors associated with specific products. Responsible for managing Hospitals' confidential information such as employee information, performance management, legal and regulatory compliance. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment. Detailed responsibilities:

  • SYSTEMS - Understand and maintain knowledge of all Hospitals information, software, hardware, and operating systems or those specifically assigned. Assist with system maintenance and modification as needed

  • DESIGN - Assist with the design and implementation of information, software, hardware, and operating systems

  • CONFIGURATION - Assist with the development of policies, standards and direction for system configuration

  • SOFTWARE - Assist implementation of software on new and existing systems for department or individual use

  • IMPLEMENTATION - Assist configuration and implementation of server and client side systems applications

  • NEEDS ANALYSIS - Communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel to understand and define user needs, gather and analyze data and recommend solutions

  • MAINTENANCE - Maintain hardware and software systems

  • PROJECTS - Provide support, maintenance and administration for assigned IT projects. Prepare and present status reports on assigned projects

  • MANUALS - Assist in the development, updating and maintenance of operating/training manuals

  • TESTING - Assist with testing leading edge systems technologies

  • STANDARDIZATION - Participate in the Hospitals hardware and software standardization efforts as appropriate and assigned

  • COMMUNICATION - Communicate with technical and non-technical personnel on systems issues to understand and respond to user needs

  • DEVELOPMENT - Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, attending in-services, meetings and workshops, Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Working conditions: Essential:

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor coordination?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Related Education and Experience may be substituted for one another on a year for year basis. Education: Essential:

  • High School or GED Equivalent
  • Vocational or Technical
