AWS Support Engineer

• Manage and support AWS services including EC2, S3, DMS, CloudWatch, Lambda, and related cloud infrastructure components.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health across AWS environments.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, and application-related issues within the AWS ecosystem.
• Assist with cloud resource provisioning, maintenance, and optimization.
• Perform day-to-day operational support and maintenance of Amazon Redshift clusters.
• Monitor cluster performance, storage utilization, and query execution efficiency.
• Support user management, permissions, and access control within Redshift environments.
• Troubleshoot data platform issues and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve incidents.
• Assist in performance tuning and operational best practices for Redshift environments.
• Utilize CloudWatch and other monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
• Respond to operational alerts, incidents, and service requests in a timely manner.
• Participate in 24x7 operational support and on-call rotations as needed.
• Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
• Analyze and troubleshoot SQL queries, performance issues, and data-related incidents.
• Develop and maintain basic scripts to automate operational tasks and monitoring activities.
• Support data migration and integration processes utilizing AWS DMS and related services.

Do you have experience in Systems & applications support?, * 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services, including:

• EC2
• S3
• DMS
• CloudWatch
• Lambda
• 1-2 years of experience supporting Amazon Redshift environments.
• Strong SQL troubleshooting and query analysis skills.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of cloud monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes.
• Experience with user access management and security best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across infrastructure and data platforms.
