Job description
- Coach, mentor, and enable engineering teams to adopt and utilize AST's DevSecOps ecosystem and workflows.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise DevSecOps applications, including:
- Application and plugin installations/deployments, upgrades, patches, and configurations.
- System migrations and cross-application integrations.
- User provisioning, access management, and permissions.
- Provide project and technical user support, including:
- Project onboarding and custom support requests.
- Day-to-day troubleshooting, documentation of best practices, and template creation.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering leadership, and development teams within the Engineering organization.
- Travel up to 25% to other AST locations and customer sites within the U.S.
Requirements
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Security Clearance Type: TS/SCI with Polygraph, * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience managing and/or supporting the following enterprise applications:
- Atlassian Jira/Confluence
- Gitlab
- Cloudbees CI (Jenkins)
- Artifact repositories (JFrog Artifactory, Sonatype Nexus Repository, Pulp)
- Software Supply Chain Security tools (JFrog Xray, Sonatype Lifecycle, Black Duck)
- Container and Orchestration tools (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Secrets management tools (AWS Secrets Manager, GitGuardian)
- Experience with managing and developing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Go, Groovy, Bash, Perl, etc.)
- Experience with Linux System Administration and Red Hat (or compatible variants) based distributions (RHEL, Fedora, CentOS, Rocky)
- Experience with virtualization technology (KVM, VMWare, Hyper-V)
- Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government issued Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph is required after start.

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience managing/supporting and/or developing with any of the following:
- Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Salt)
- Observability dashboard tools (Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, Kibana)
- Possess professional certifications in DevOps/DevSecOps and/or CI/CD areas:
- Containers and Orchestration (CKS, CKA, CKAD, DCA)
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, AWS Certified Security Specialty
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Linux Foundation Certified Engineer (LFCE), or equivalent advanced Linux credential
- CompTIA Security+
- GitLab Certified CI/CD Associate, GitLab Certified Security Specialist
- Strong foundation in Agile software development
- Cross-platform development, focusing on RHEL (CentOS / Rocky) 8+ and Windows
- Compliance familiarity key U.S. government cybersecurity regulations and standards such as NIST SP 800-171, FIPS, and/or DFARS/CMMC
- Familiarity with or basic understanding of telecommunications systems concepts and/or signal processing
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with Poly

- And More!, The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
