Job description

The Solution Support Specialist role is responsible for assisting the Transportation Manager and Sales team in supporting Fulfillment operations and Freight Forwarding (Ocean & Air). This role ensures customers receive timely support, smooth shipment execution, and professional service, while also helping drive business growth by coordinating with internal teams, overseas offices, and external partners., Sales & Customer Support

  • Assist the Transportation Manager and Sales team in preparing quotations, proposals, and rate requests.
  • Support onboarding of new customers (account setup, SOP preparation, credit coordination).
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding fulfillment, air freight, and ocean freight shipments.
  • Prepare sales reports, pipeline tracking, and customer review materials.

Fulfillment Support

  • Coordinate with warehouse operations for inbound, outbound, and inventory control.
  • Monitor order fulfillment KPIs and support resolution of service issues.
  • Prepare workflow SOPs, security checklists, and process improvement suggestions.
  • Support customer requests for value-added services (kitting, relabeling, returns, DG handling).

Ocean & Air Freight Forwarding Support

  • Handle booking coordination, documentation (BOL, AWB), and rate confirmations with carriers/co-loaders.
  • Track shipments end-to-end, proactively communicate status, and escalate exceptions.
  • Liaise with overseas offices (China/APAC) to align cross-border shipping requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, regulatory, and DG (dangerous goods) rules.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain updated rate sheets, contracts, and SOP records.
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports on volumes, revenue, and service performance.
  • Support invoicing, billing accuracy, and coordination with finance for payment collection.
  • Assist with sales events, trade shows, and internal projects as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Customer returns handling?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred).

  • 1-3 years of experience in freight forwarding, fulfillment, or logistics sales support.
  • Familiarity with international shipping (air/ocean) and warehouse operations.
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of TMS/WMS systems (CargoWise a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills; team player mindset.
  • Bilingual English & Chinese preferred for cross-border communication.
