Job description

Join our dynamic team as a Software Engineer where you will contribute to enhancing vital financial systems. This position offers a balance of on-site and remote work, presenting a unique opportunity for collaboration with leading tech professionals. Responsibilities

  • Design and enhance robust software solutions for various applications and databases.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners to address business objectives with innovative development.
  • Review technical requirements and build solutions tailored to fulfill specified needs.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and advocate for best coding practices.
  • Troubleshoot issues during different phases and implement bug fixes as needed.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to strategic technology planning.
  • Engage in continual development practices, including the creation of unit tests.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Java, Python, AWS Cloud services, and full-stack development technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving aptitude coupled with effective communication skills.
  • Strong experience using version control systems like Git, with proficiency in resolving conflicts.
  • Ability to independently navigate tasks while mentoring junior team members.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services and adherence to security best practices.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with optimizing AWS Glue jobs and Apache Spark.
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
  • Proficiency with Terraform/CDK for AWS infrastructure deployment.
  • Understanding of API development infrastructures and associated tools.
