Job description

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an IT Technician with strong Help Desk experience (3-4+ years) to support our client, Quanta Manufacturing, at their Fremont headquarters.

This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving technical issues for end users. You will serve as the frontline IT support resource, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across systems, devices, and applications., * Provide Tier 1 / Tier 2 Help Desk support in a corporate environment

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux systems
  • Manage and resolve tickets using a Service Desk ticketing system (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.)
  • Support Microsoft 365, Teams, and SaaS applications
  • Perform user account management (Active Directory, password resets, access requests)
  • Assist with device imaging, deployment, onboarding/offboarding
  • Troubleshoot printers, VoIP systems, AV/conference room technology, and peripherals
  • Provide remote and onsite support using tools like RDP, TeamViewer, etc.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and contribute to knowledge base articles
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure and engineering teams

Requirements

Do you have experience in macOS?, * 3-4+ years of strong Help Desk / Service Desk experience in a corporate environment

  • Experience supporting Windows and macOS systems (Linux is a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365
  • Experience using ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, printers, and networking issues
  • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VPN, and basic networking concepts
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize effectively
