Job description

Great digital experiences are built on trusted data. In this role, you will shape how digital data is defined, measured, protected, and used across web and mobile journeys. You will help enable reporting, personalization, and advanced analytics that improve customer relevance and business outcomes. You will partner closely with product, engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver what teams need-clearly and on time.

As a Data Product Owner in the Digital Data Owners Team, you will help ensure platform-wide digital data is well-defined, high-quality, and protected to support measurement, personalization, and decisioning. You will coordinate across analytics, engineering, product, and business partners to define instrumentation and data requirements, prioritize initiatives tied to business value, and deliver datasets and data products that are ready for advanced analytics. You will document definitions, lineage, classification, and reusable journey and funnel metrics, and you will help monitor and address data quality, retention, and appropriate-use risks, * Coordinate with analytics, engineering, product, and business teams to define platform-wide digital instrumentation and data requirements

  • Deliver digital instrumentation and data requirements on time across web and mobile experiences
  • Prioritize digital data initiatives and align delivery to measurable business value
  • Contribute to digital data strategy and the delivery of artificial intelligence-ready digital datasets and data products
  • Document critical data scope, definitions, lineage, and classification in metadata tools
  • Establish standard key performance indicators and journey/funnel definitions for reuse
  • Partner with stakeholders to resolve data issues across digital applications and journeys
  • Monitor data quality and escalate issues when needed
  • Support data protection, retention, and appropriate-use controls within established risk and control frameworks

Requirements

  • Have 3 years of related experience in data management, analytics, digital platforms, or data governance
  • Hold a bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrate knowledge of data management/governance, data quality, and analytics concepts
  • Knowledge of digital behavioral data concepts (web/mobile events, instrumentation, funnels/journeys)
  • Operate within data risk and control requirements and established frameworks
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
  • Connect data initiatives to business outcomes using strong business acumen

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Use foundational data engineering and analytics tools (such as SQL, Tableau, Alteryx)
  • Demonstrate exposure to machine learning concepts (such as Python, JupyterLab) and cloud platforms (such as AWS, Snowflake, Databricks)
  • Apply familiarity with open data standards, data taxonomy, vocabularies, and metadata management concepts
  • Show strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Bring exposure to digital data, customer data, or marketing analytics
