Job description

Our client is seeking a Cloud Platform Architecture Lead to help design and implement modern cloud solutions supporting enterprise applications and infrastructure. This role will focus on Google Cloud technologies, Kubernetes, automation, DevOps, and cloud modernization initiatives., * Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions

  • Lead cloud migration and modernization projects
  • Architect Kubernetes and container-based environments
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
  • Establish cloud security, governance, and IAM best practices
  • Support cloud-native and microservices-based applications
  • Implement monitoring, observability, and performance solutions
  • Partner with development and infrastructure teams on strategic cloud initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GKE, and container orchestration
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, storage, and security
  • Experience with Terraform, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools
  • Experience with DevOps, GitOps, and CI/CD methodologies
  • Scripting experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages
  • Experience supporting cloud migration and infrastructure transformation projects

Preferred

  • Google Cloud certifications
  • Experience with Istio, Linkerd, Helm, Ansible, and observability tools
  • Experience with OpenShift, VMware, or multi-cloud environments
