Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Developer to support large-scale ERP and Case Management modernization initiatives within a public sector environment. The successful candidate will work within an agile, self-directed, multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering advanced digital solutions across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.

This role focuses on developing, enhancing, integrating, testing, and maintaining enterprise PeopleSoft HCM solutions while supporting business process automation, service delivery excellence, operational efficiencies, reporting capabilities, and digital transformation objectives., * Provide technical expertise across all phases of the SDLC including design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance

  • Develop and support enterprise PeopleSoft HCM solutions and integrations
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
  • Develop new functionality and enhancements using PeopleTools technologies
  • Support packaged application integrations and enterprise system interoperability
  • Develop technical specifications, technical designs, and implementation documentation
  • Support unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution
  • Conduct walkthroughs of technical specifications, designs, and test results with stakeholders
  • Configure and support Fluid UI components including navigation, dashboards, tiles, and Activity Guides
  • Manage role-based security and workflow configurations
  • Collaborate with solution designers, business analysts, developers, testers, and business stakeholders
  • Research emerging technologies and best practices to support continuous improvement
  • Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to project team members

Requirements

Must-have:

  • In-depth PeopleSoft system development experience
  • Strong expertise with Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, and BI Publisher
  • Experience developing and supporting enterprise PeopleSoft HCM solutions
  • Experience configuring Fluid UI including navigation, dashboards, tiles, and Activity Guides
  • Experience managing role-based security and workflow configurations
  • Experience supporting all phases of the SDLC
  • Experience developing technical specifications and technical documentation
  • Experience supporting unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments

Highly Preferred:

  • PeopleSoft HCM expertise focused on Absence Management
  • Experience with Time and Labour modules
  • Experience with Benefits and Payroll modules
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft security architecture
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM)
  • Experience with Change Assistant and Data Mover
  • Oracle database management and application database administration experience
  • Linux scripting experience
  • Experience with packaged application integrations

KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER:

  • Provide ongoing knowledge transfer to project teams and operational support staff
  • Document application designs, integrations, configurations, and support procedures
  • Support transition planning and operational sustainability activities
