Salesforce Developer, We're seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer II with strong data engineering experience to help build scalable, cloud-native systems that power compliance automation. In this role, you'll work on modern AWS-based architectures, developing data pipelines, backend services, and analytics solutions that support critical regulatory and operational needs.

- Develop and implement scalable ETL/ELT processes and data warehouse schemas
- Design and support event-driven architectures using AWS services
- Build APIs, workflow orchestration services, and backend systems for internal applications
- Ensure high standards of data quality, validation, monitoring, and observability
- Implement secure data handling practices, including encryption, access controls, and audit logging
- Extend systems to support new requirements, integrations, and regions
- Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and ongoing technical discussions
- Support production systems through monitoring, debugging, and continuous improvement, * Work on high-impact systems that support global regulatory and operational needs

Requirements
Debugging Pipelines Operations Leadership Automation Encryption Code Review Scalability API Gateway Data Quality Data Science Data Security Data Modeling Export Control Data Pipelines Problem Solving Sprint Planning Amazon Redshift Computer Science Data Warehousing Data Engineering, * 3+ years of data engineering experience (data modeling, pipelines, data warehousing)
- 3+ years of professional software development experience building production systems
- Strong SQL skills with experience working on large, complex datasets
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or TypeScript
- Experience with AWS services such as:
- Data: Glue, Redshift, Athena
- Compute/Integration: Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, DynamoDB
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle (design, testing, deployment, operations)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field, * Experience building event-driven systems (Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, etc.)
- Familiarity with serverless architectures on AWS
- Experience with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or similar)
- Exposure to compliance, regulatory systems, or complex multi-region environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in evolving, fast-paced environments

This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
