Job description

  • You apply advanced statistical methods to clinical and biomarker studies, including causal, Bayesian, time-series, and high-dimensional approaches, to generate meaningful scientific insights
  • You drive exploratory and confirmatory biomarker analyses across clinical trial, omics, and real-world data, helping to translate complex data into impactful outcomes
  • You explore, prototype, and validate innovative analytical methods by combining scientific literature with practical application
  • You shape statistical strategy by contributing to analysis plans, study protocols, sample size calculations, and methodological justification
  • You streamline and automate biomarker analyses and reporting outputs for reports, presentations, and publications, increasing efficiency and consistency
  • You develop and maintain analytical code, pipelines, tools, and prototype applications that enable study execution and advance digital statistical solutions
  • You create training materials on statistical and machine learning methods, helping others build confidence in clinical data analysis
  • You take ownership of both routine and complex quantitative tasks while working closely with cross-functional, external, and academic partners
  • You ensure the accurate and timely delivery of outsourced quantitative work, maintaining high quality standards throughout

Requirements

  • You hold an MSc or PhD in statistics, biostatistics, computer science, bioinformatics, or a related field
  • You bring several years of hands-on data science experience, including some years in pharma, biotech, or a comparable highly regulated environment
  • You combine strong programming skills in R and/or Python with solid SQL knowledge and hands-on experience in reproducible data preparation, analysis, modeling, and machine learning workflows
  • You have a strong track record of working with large, complex datasets, from extraction and transformation to feature engineering and version-controlled delivery
  • You bring strong expertise in clinical data and a sound understanding of standards such as CDISC, randomized clinical trials, study design, and real-world data approaches in life sciences
  • You understand software design principles and know how to build reproducible analysis workflows and model pipelines while collaborating effectively with data and ML engineers
  • You confidently use AI-assisted coding tools and ideally know how to make models or analyses accessible through APIs or existing applications
  • You have experience developing and validating GxP-compliant analytical code and contributing to regulatory-relevant documentation, including protocols and SAPs
  • You are an independent, collaborative, and solution-oriented professional with strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, paired with excellent English proficiency
