Design, implement, maintain, and optimize the technological infrastructure and IT systems that support the operation of the Urban Traffic Control Center, ensuring the availability, security, and efficiency of traffic management, monitoring, and communication systems. Functions and Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain system infrastructure: servers, networks, storage, and virtualization.
- Manage traffic control platforms (access control systems, ITS systems, traffic light management platforms, and video surveillance systems).
- Monitor system performance in real time and resolve critical incidents.
- Integrate new devices and technologies (IoT, sensors, cameras, V2X systems).
- Coordinate with traffic engineers, operators, and technology providers.
- Manage databases and large-scale data storage systems (traffic Big Data).
- Manage and maintain systems in virtualized environments (VMware).
- Define and implement backup, disaster recovery, and service continuity policies.
- Automate system administration processes and tasks.
- Participate in modernization and smart city projects.
- Prepare technical documentation and operational procedures.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer or Systems Engineering, alongside 2-3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include overseeing system performance, integrating technologies, and coordinating with engineers and operators., * 2-3 years of experience in system administration or critical environments.
