Job description

Lawrence Harvey is looking for a DevOps Engineer in Monterroso, Spain, to join an international team focused on building cloud-based database services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with MongoDB and DevOps practices, working in cloud environments.

Interested in working in modern cloud environments where you can combine automation, databases, and distributed systems? We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with MongoDB experience to join an international team focused on building and evolving cloud-based database services. Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and improve MongoDB-based database services in cloud environments
  • Automate operational processes to enhance scalability, reliability, and efficiency
  • Work with Kubernetes for orchestration and lifecycle management (including operators/controllers)
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable deployments
  • Monitor systems and ensure high availability, performance, and security
  • Act as a technical point of contact for internal teams on MongoDB-related topics
  • Support complex troubleshooting and incident resolution at an advanced level
  • Stay up to date with the latest MongoDB features and cloud-native best practices

Requirements

  • Strong experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, Infrastructure as Code).
  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB (administration or development).

  • Good level of English for working in international teams
