Job description

  • Manage infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Implement CI/CD using GitLab for deployment and testing.

Conocimientos

GCP Expertise Terraform Python Hive PySpark BigQuery Airflow GitLab CI/CD Cloud Security Agile Mindset, You will work on data-projects that optimize the planning, building, and operation of our fixed-line and mobile networks. Working within a cross-functional team, with taks in following areas

  • Architectural Design & Strategy: Analyze and assess complex requirements to create end-to-end technical designs and architectures. You will lead the product/service development from initial concept to launch across the entire lifecycle.
  • GCP Infrastructure Management: Efficiently deploy and manage robust infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This includes designing network architectures (Shared VPC, Hub-and-Spoke), configuring DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, and core services like GKE, Cloud Run, and Compute Engine.
  • Automation & CI/CD: Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform. Integrate and optimize GitLab Magenta CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment, testing, and configuration across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments.
  • Data Engineering & AI: Design data processing workflows using Hadoop/Hive and PySpark, orchestrated via Airflow/Composer. Handle data integration from various sources (CDI, TARDIS APIs, GCS) and implement AI solutions using Google Vertex AI.
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce rigorous security measures, including IAM policies, Secret Manager, firewalls, and Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP).
  • Consultancy & Analysis: Act as a strategic consultant for Product Owners and stakeholders. Conduct cost-benefit breakdowns and ensure all technical solutions align with business goals through comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have deep GCP proficiency and relevant certifications. A hybrid work model is offered, allowing flexibility and personal development opportunities through training., * Deep proficiency in Google Cloud Platform.

  • Mandatory certification as a GCP Cloud Architect or Data Engineer.
  • Solid knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure management., * GCP Expertise: Deep proficiency in Google Cloud Platform. Mandatory certification as a GCP Cloud Architect or Data Engineer.
  • Technical Stack:
  • Infrastructure: Solid knowledge of Terraform.
  • Programming: Skilled in Python for application development and automation.
  • Data & Orchestration: Proficiency in Hive, PySpark, BigQuery, and Airflow.
  • DevOps: Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD and containerization (Kubernetes/GKE).
  • Architecture & Design: Proven track record in specifying end-to-end architectures, microservices, and cloud-native solutions. Ability to document concepts using UML.
  • Security & Networking: Deep understanding of cloud network security, IAM, and encrypted data management.
  • Business Acumen: Experience in technology consulting, stakeholder management, and the application of cost-benefit calculation principles.
  • Soft Skills & Mindset:
  • Agile mindset with practical experience in Scrum or Kanban.
  • A proactive "can-do" mentality with a high degree of self-organization.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to own the technical roadmap.
