Job description

BANCO SANTANDER is seeking a Cloud Platform Technical Expert to join Santander Digital Services in Boadilla del Monte, Spain. You will provide expertise in cloud architectures and lead phases of customer journeys, ensuring successful cloud migrations., * Attend to customers, understand their needs, offer solutions.

  • Provide technical solution expertise in designing traditional and cloud architectures (compute, storage, backup, network).
  • Lead technical solution development phases of the customer journey: PoT / PoC / Demo, ensuring cloud initiatives meet organization and customer needs.
  • Review existing solutions, implement new services, or migrate solutions to the cloud.
  • Create documentation and manage project schedules, status, resources.
  • Conduct product evaluations and communicate best practices.
  • Develop technical offers to implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solution deployments across systems, virtualization, networking, storage, and backup areas.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in cloud solutions, with a strong background in Agile methodologies and teamwork. The position offers a hybrid working model, flexible hours, and various competitive benefits., * Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cloud Platform Technical Expert and in pre-sales roles.

  • Experience designing, building, migrating, or transforming customer solutions to the cloud.

  • Strong history of successful consulting and architecture engagements with large-scale customers., Cloud Platform Expertise Teamwork Agile Practices Technical Communication (English), Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, * Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cloud Platform Technical Expert and in pre-sales roles.

  • Experience designing, building, migrating, or transforming customer solutions to the cloud.

  • Knowledge of cloud computing benefits, concepts, and principles.

  • Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.

  • Experience in Agile ways of working.

  • History of successful consulting and architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.

  • Strong teamwork and ability to support colleagues.

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.

  • Proficient in spoken and written English.

  • Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent work experience (desirable).

  • Virtualization, storage or networking certifications (desirable).

  • Experience with IaC languages such as Terraform or CloudFormation (desirable).

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Nexus, Sonar, Jira, Confluence (desirable).
