Mobile Engineer

Rakuten TV in Barcelona is looking for a Mobile Engineer with strong iOS skills and a multiplatform mindset. You will contribute to mobile products, maintaining a high-quality iOS application while building new experiences with Kotlin Multiplatform., * Contribute to mobile products at different stages of their lifecycle.

Conocimientos

iOS development Kotlin Multiplatform Agile/Scrum methodologies Swift Objective-C

The role requires 3+ years of iOS development experience, hands-on Kotlin knowledge, and involvement in an end-to-end product team. A flexible working model and diverse team atmosphere await you!, * 3+ years of iOS development experience with a solid understanding of Swift and Objective-C.

• Hands-on experience with Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM) is required.
• Good coding practices and belief in a strong testing strategy., * 3+ years of iOS development experience with a solid understanding of Swift and Objective-C
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM) - writing and maintaining shared modules is part of the job
• Comfortable working on both a native Swift codebase and a KMM project simultaneously

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Comfortable researching new technologies and finding pragmatic solutions

The position You will contribute to mobile products at different stages of their lifecycle - from maintaining and evolving a mature, high-quality native iOS application used by millions of customers, to building new multiplatform experiences using Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform. This role requires you to be comfortable in both worlds: writing clean, idiomatic Swift for native iOS and contributing to a shared KMM codebase where business logic, networking, and data layers are written in Kotlin and run across platforms. You will be part of an end-to-end product team alongside developers, QA engineers, designers, and product owners - from concept to deployment and maintenance.
