We are looking for an Application DevOps Engineer focused on automated cloud deployments and container platforms. In this role, you will support development teams by designing and operating Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms, automating infrastructure and deployment processes, providing standardized CI/CD pipelines, and configuring shared operational services. Working with tools like Kubernetes, OpenShift, Argo CD, GitLab, Ansible, and container registries, you will help build scalable release processes, improve deployment reliability, and ensure consistent adoption of DevOps and GitOps best practices. What You Will Do
- Build and maintain automated deployment workflows for containerized applications in Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Manage GitOps processes using Argo CD and GitLab CI/CD, including rollout strategies and configuration management.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Helm, Terraform/Ansible) for consistent and auditable changes.
- Work with application and infrastructure teams to onboard and standardize services on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks for reliable operations.
- Contribute to cluster upgrades, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines, reusable automation templates, and onboarding materials.
- Assist teams with pipeline integration, secrets management, and observability.
- Document standards and promote DevOps best practices.
Requirements
- Experience in DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering, especially with Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Strong skills in Python, shell scripting, GitLab CI/CD and Argo CD.

- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, preferably with Ansible and Helm.
- Solid understanding of Linux, networking, and containerization concepts.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Splunk).
- Strong troubleshooting skills in microservices environments.
- Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; German or Spanish is a plus.
