Job description
GlobalLogic, located in Spain, Castilla-La Mancha, is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of its SaaS platform. This hybrid role involves manual testing, backend validation, UI testing, and automation using tools like Playwright., * Design and execute test strategies across REST APIs, backend services, UI workflows, and end-to-end SaaS scenarios.
- Build and maintain Playwright-based automation for both UI workflow testing and API-level validation.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, integration, release-readiness, and defect validation testing.
- Manage test cases, execution results, traceability, and defects using Jira and Zephyr.
- Plan and execute performance/load tests and analyze logs, metrics, API responses, and service behavior with engineering and SRE teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA engineering experience with SaaS platforms, REST APIs, distributed systems, or microservices.
- Hands-on Playwright automation experience, including UI workflow automation and API validation.
- Experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, CI/CD validation, release testing, test data management, and defect triage.
- Understanding of performance/load testing concepts such as throughput, latency, concurrency, saturation, and error rates.
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly document defects, risks, test results, and release recommendations.
