Cloud DevOps Engineer

Giesecke+Devrient, located in Monterroso, Spain, is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join their Business Cloud Services team. This role involves working with an infrastructure-as-code driven PaaS on Microsoft Azure and AKS to provide secure cloud-native services. The successful candidate will collaborate with an international Scrum team, enhancing the design and operation of critical cloud platforms.

The position requires expertise in cloud automation, ensuring platform security and availability, while driving improvements in Kubernetes environments., At G+D, we are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our Business Cloud Services team, working on an infrastructure-as-code driven Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) hosted on Microsoft Azure and AKS, enabling highly secure, scalable cloud-native services for central banks and payment providers worldwide.

You will work in an international Scrum team with colleagues based in Spain, Germany, and India, contributing to the design, deployment, and operation of mission-critical cloud platforms. Your Responsibilities

• Drive cloud-native automation and self-service capabilities, ensuring platform security, availability, and disaster recovery readiness
• Design, operate, and continuously improve Kubernetes clusters and PaaS environments on Azure / AKS
• Collaborate closely with development tea

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and AKS.
• Knowledge of cloud-native automation and Kubernetes clusters.
