Introduction: A position as EME System Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid). Brief description of the department's mission
The selected candidate will join the TADYX1 Team in charge of managing the disciplines of electromagnetic protection for aircraft structures and systems and antenna integration. The candidate will be part of a multicultural and multidisciplinary team working in different military programs under our product portfolio, reinforcing the team in order to ensure the implementation of complex design solutions within different challenging military projects, covering all the complete development V cycle: from customer/airworthiness requirements capture to aircraft certification, aircraft delivery and in-service aircraft support.

Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking an EME System Engineer in Getafe, Madrid. The successful candidate will join the TADYX1 Team, focusing on electromagnetic protection for aircraft. Essential qualifications include a degree in Telecommunications, Aeronautical, or Electrical Engineering, plus 5+ years in engineering. Candidates should have strong knowledge of electromagnetism and proficiency in advanced simulation tools. The role demands advanced English and offers a permanent employment contract., * At least 5 years in Engineering with strong background in electromagnetism theory and aircraft design.
- Knowledge about integration at platform level including specification, validation, and certification.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
- Knowledge of applicable standards for EME equipment qualification and aircraft certification.

- Experience: At least 5 years in Engineering with strong background in electromagnetism theory, electromagnetic protection measures applied to aircraft structures and systems/equipment and aircraft design. Knowledge about integration at platform level (complete cycle: specification, validation, verification, certification/qualification). User of complex and advanced tools for electromagnetic simulation and modelling for EME design and antenna integration (CST, FEKO, etc.). CAD management, computational tools and postprocessing. Good technical skills, familiar with R/T and R&D projects. Ability to work autonomously as well as being active part of a team. Ability to overcome difficulties in the development of the projects. Knowledge of applicable standard and regulation for EME equipment qualification and aircraft certification (e.g. DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, CS/FAR25, etc.).
