Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Proton Pass product for Android, iOS and Web platforms. You will play a crucial role in establishing QA processes and contributing to the release of our product every few weeks. This is an independent contributor role that requires a strong understanding of multi-platform testing and a passion for delivering high-quality software. What you will do

• Collaborate closely with the product team, including developers, product managers, and designers, as an embedded member.
• Focus on continuously improving the quality of our product.
• Participate actively in reviewing feature specifications and wireframes.
• Work alongside the Product Owner to ensure testable acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases while having a strong understanding of product functionality.
• Identify and diligently track quality issues, reporting clear and accurate bug reports.
• Engage in team activities such as weekly meetings and reviews of designs and specifications.
• Promote and adhere to quality best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Professional experience working on Web and mobile platforms.
• Ability to conduct thorough tests to prevent issues before deployment.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies.
