As part of our team, you will work as a Data Engineer specializing in data warehousing and analytics (Power BI) to develop and enhance the data platform associated with our smart transportation solutions (CAD/AVL, ABT, CCTV, etc.). You will join a microservices-based environment, where each service has its own database. Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Design, development, and maintenance of ETL/ELT processes using tools such as Talend and/or Prefect.
  • Integration of data from distributed microservices-based architectures.
  • Modeling and design of data warehouses oriented toward analytical use (dimensional models, query optimization).
  • Ensuring data quality, consistency, and traceability.
  • Orchestration and monitoring of data pipelines.
  • Development of semantic models and datasets for use in Power BI.
  • Creation of reusable dashboards and reports for clients and internal solutions.
  • Performance optimization in data loading and utilization processes.
  • Collaboration with backend, product, and analytics development teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in developing ETL/ELT processes using Talend or Prefect.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with BI tools, especially Power BI for dashboard creation., For this position, we are looking for a Data Engineer who is seeking a stable environment in which to grow, with a proven track record and experience in the following:
  • Experience in developing ETL/ELT processes (Talend, Prefect, or equivalent tools).
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience in data warehouse design and modeling (star schema, snowflake, etc.).
  • Experience working with multiple data sources (especially in microservices environments).
  • Experience with BI tools, especially Power BI (modeling, DAX, dashboard creation).
  • Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration.
  • Experience in query and performance optimization.

We will also value:

  • Experience with modern data architectures (data lake, lakehouse).
  • Knowledge of messaging tools (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Experience in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of Python or other languages for data processing.
  • Experience in designing multi-tenant solutions.
  • Knowledge of data governance (data quality, security).
  • Experience in the transportation sector or ITS systems.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
