Job description
As IT Engineer (m/f/d) you will be responsible for providing hands-on IT support and technical expertise to colleagues on-site in Spain. This role requires broad knowledge across workplace technologies, hardware, software, and collaboration tools, and acts as a key enabler for smooth IT operations locally. Fluency in Spanish is mandatory to ensure effective communication and support. Your Tasks:
- Provide on-site IT support for end users in Spain (hardware, software, network, peripherals).
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests in collaboration with central IT teams.
- Support device lifecycle management (setup, deployment, maintenance, decommissioning).
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes (accounts, devices, access).
- Act as local contact for Modern Workplace topics (e.g., Teams, OneDrive, Outlook).
- Coordinate with central IT and service owners to ensure alignment and escalation.
- Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge base articles.
- Support local infrastructure (e.g., printers, meeting rooms, network equipment).
- Provide on-site support at other Spanish locations when required.
- Travel to other offices for IT rollouts, troubleshooting, or project support., Hybrid: you'll join us at our Santa Cruz de Tenerife office at least 2-3 days per week, while working the other days remotely.
Structured Onboarding: you receive an individual onboarding plan, have multiple onboarding days in the beginning, and a wealth of e-learning, training, and documentation besides your team at your disposal.
Set-up: for this, we will provide you with a tailored tech set-up (notebook, headset, backpack) if you are working in an office, and for remote workers we have an extended set-up.

Requirements
A global data service provider is seeking an IT Engineer to provide on-site support in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The role requires hands-on expertise in workplace technologies and a service-oriented mindset. Candidates should have a degree in IT and several years of experience in support or administration. Compensation package: 97% fixed base salary paid monthly, with a 3% performance-based bonus paid annually, dependent on company performance.
