VBeyond Corporation in Barcelona is looking for an experienced engineer specializing in CFD analysis and mechanical design within aerospace. The role involves performing evaluations, conducting engineering calculations, and preparing detailed reports. - Perform CFD evaluations and airflow/thermal simulations for nacelle ventilation systems.
- Conduct engineering calculations using:
- Hand calculations and 1D analytical models
- ANSYS CFX simulations
- Thermal and ventilation performance assessments
- Prepare detailed CFD and engineering calculation reports.
- Develop detailed mechanical designs in line with PDR (Preliminary Design Review) requirements.
- Create and manage 3D CAD models using NX and PLM systems.
- Execute Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and support SEDR qualification activities.
- Cost trade-off analysis
- Mass optimization studies
- Manufacturing feasibility evaluations
- Service and maintainability impact assessments
- Prepare engineering documentation including:
- DFMEA
- Certification reports
- Design review presentations
- Coordinate with suppliers for DDR approvals and closure of action items.
- Support FPQ initiation and prototype readiness activities per program schedules.
- Maintain engineering data, CFD results, and reports in secured repositories and PLM systems.
Requirements
Applicants should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and have significant hands-on experience in aviation programs., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is essential.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional engineering and supplier teams.
