Infrastructure Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Consultant to join our Compute Design & Planning Hub, part of a Europe-wide Compute & Windows Department. This department brings together multiple specialized teams working collaboratively to deliver a robust, modern, and efficient infrastructure landscape.

Our team focuses on planning, designing and standardizing x86 technologies, ensuring architectural consistency while driving innovation across international environments. We actively support strategic initiatives, collaborate with general and regional stakeholders, and contribute to shaping the future roadmap of our x86 platforms and data center architecture., Infrastructure Planning & Technical Design

• Design scalable, reliable and future-proof x86 infrastructure solutions
• Perform capacity planning and calculations to ensure stability, performance and availability
• Contribute to the standardization of x86 technologies
• Translate business and technical requirements into consistent, high-quality infrastructure designs

Internal Projects Coordination

• Plan and coordinate key infrastructure initiatives, including:

• Hardware renewals
• x86 modernization and optimization (e.g., HCI adoption)
• Lifecycle improvements (technology refresh, architecture updates, performance optimization)

• Collaborate with international teams to ensure alignment and efficient execution

Technical Expertise & Collaboration

• Act as a technical expert in:

• x86 server platforms
• VMware virtualization environments
• Performance and capacity optimization

• Apply operational and design experience to improve platform stability and long-term architecture
• Work closely with global and regional IT teams on:

• Feasibility assessments
• Demand planning
• Solution evaluation

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in x86 technologies and experience with enterprise server hardware, collaborating with international teams while acting as a technical expert across various infrastructure initiatives., * Deep expertise in x86 technologies.

• Strong knowledge of virtualization and management tools.
