Amaris Consulting in Carballedo, Spain is seeking a Senior DevOps & Backend Engineer to design and maintain cloud-native infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years' experience, strong AWS and Node.js skills, and thrive in an Agile environment., * 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles within production environments.

• Strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services such as ECS, RDS, S3, and CloudFront.
• Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI or similar).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Proven experience developing and supporting backend services using Node.js.
• Experience working with containerized environments (Docker, ECS and/or EKS).
• Good understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and cloud security principles.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Dynatrace or similar).
• Ability to troubleshoot and operate high-availability production systems.
• Experience working in Agile environments, ideally in multi-team or scaled setups (e.g. LeSS).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional, international teams.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
