Job description

Xebia in Palma, Spain is looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join its team. This role is critical for designing and delivering enterprise-grade network solutions across multiple regions. The candidate will implement and deploy network infrastructure and collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure robust architectures., * Deliver the entire global network backbone infrastructure across IAD, PDX, and DUB regions as defined in the project plan.

  • Build centralized egress architectures using AWS Network Firewall to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective traffic management across all regions.
  • Build and maintain AWS Cloud WAN infrastructure to provide seamless connectivity and routing across our global network footprint.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform to ensure consistent, repeatable, and version-controlled network deployments.
  • Collaborate with security architects, cloud engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust network architectures and technical specifications.
  • Drive the implementation of network automation and self-service capabilities to enable parallel development and incremental delivery of network services.
  • Lead by example through hands-on technical work while mentoring other network engineers, providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of network infrastructure through comprehensive testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in network engineering, including infrastructure as code or automation-first approaches.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across multi-region environments in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS networking services, industry trends, and technologies to ensure our infrastructure remains competitive and efficient.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience, hands-on AWS Cloud WAN expertise, and strong skills in Terraform. Xebia promotes a collaborative and innovative work environment., * 5+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on enterprise cloud networking solutions.

  • Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code., * Deliver global network infrastructure across IAD, PDX, and DUB regions.
  • Build egress architectures using AWS Network Firewall.
  • Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform., We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. You will play a critical role in designing, building, and delivering enterprise-grade network solutions that form the backbone of our general infrastructure. As one of "The Builders," you will be responsible for hands-on implementation and deployment of our network infrastructure across multiple regions., * 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise cloud networking solutions.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in AWS Cloud WAN, including configuration, routing policies, and multi-region connectivity.
  • Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code, with proven experience managing complex network deployments.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing centralized egress architectures using AWS Network Firewall, including policy management and traffic inspection.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale network infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively about complex network challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices applied to network infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to use a data-driven approach to network optimization, capacity planning, and decision-making.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English.
